400 or 600

hello
i have read until my eyes are burning
i am about to order a new digital grow kit
and am trying to decide between a 400 or 600
my room will be 3 x 6
i am aware there are many factors regarding growth
and i am looking for others experiences
do you think it is necessary ?
i have read it would not decrease the harvest time
but would bring a higher yield.
would it make better bud,
or just more of it ?

I'm new, but I agree with Pit, go with the 600

yes it will be air cooled,
and i was wondering how you hook that up
i am hoping that the filter is on one end
then some aluminium venting
to the light
then some more venting
to the fan
then outside
i am looking at the digital air cool tube grow light on ebay.ca from powerkingshop
made by illumalights
is this a good quality unit ?

but does the light require its own fan ?
or does it hook up to the filter and fan ?
because i won't be buying two fans
in that case i would want a normal reflector
and not an air cooled

the light does not require it's own fan

you can have the set up like this.
filter -> ducting -> light -> ducting -> fan (pulling air out of the grow area -> ducting to outside or wherever

I went with a 600w kit from BG hydro, The total cost was under 300 bucks.
Everything I read always lead me back to a 600w setup, They seem to be the most efficient, Low cost to use, & my plants are loving it.
I currently have a 6x6x6 grow tent built into a 10x12 room. We are gonna ditch the tent though, And just convert the whole room. And add another 600watt light. Were making so we can harvest our Aero/NFT setups every month. Gonna run 3 of em.
So, Im a big fan of the 600w setup as you can see. lol. We did our first grow with just a 150w hps shop light we converted. It worked well, But the buds were a bit light & airy. Still good, just low yield. The 600 has fixed all that..

i checked out their website
but i live in canada
and will avoid the cross border shipping hassles
but i will go with the 600
and a charcoal filter
my 6 plants are doing well under 8 cfl's
and i plan on putting them outside
but will take clones first
so i will be ready for september
when my indoor grow will begin

I agree air cooled. Filter-ducting-Fan-ducting-light-ducting-6inch inline duct fan pushing air out is the setup is what i plan on doing inside a 3" 11'X 3" 11' tent with 4-6 plants more like 4 possibly two 5gal buckets to start off just for experience. The setup for the ducting is what i have seen at htg supply and I might have another 6 inch inline duct fan or mayb 2 pushing air into the tent not sure yet. Also your going to need a fan or two to blow some air straight at your plants mayb one on the plants one on the light but it may not be necessary. Any how wish you luck my friend hope the wifey does not win that battle.
