420s Drip-Hydro, McTrish's First Journal: Autoflower

Fast forward to today.

Still too busy and haven't had much time in the room.

Meant to take the flowering plant off the main heart and switch nutrients to bloom but didn't have time. Now all plants flowering.

Also haven't changed out the water yet. Only added to.

Hope to switch heart to bloom today now.

Hopefully they will recover.

Ph at 6.2, ppm was 450 ish when checked.

I've given a small pruning pulling the brown leaves. I have read that autoflower shouldn't be trimmed as they dont have time to heal so was very minimal

Didn't think I over fed but maybe I did. I have been using the hydro bible rather then shooting for ppm which is super helpful. If I had checked more often, I might have caught it. I don't believe it to be rust mold.

Aside from these seeds not being feminized, im liking the autoflower.

Hi, I just finished growing 4 autos (jock horror) that I did not bother to trim. They looked perfect from above. Except for parts of the main colas, 2 of the plants were moldy at the core. I should have trimmed at least the bottom third of these, they would have been nice. My bad, we had a bad couple of months here with illness and the plants did not get the attention required.

Poor neglected plants

The big plant in the middle was put into rockwool jan 3. The comprehensive life span is 70 days. I am well past that but hairs still upright.

Is that mold in trichome pics?
Not sure about mold on trichomes, it does appear to be on top of your growing medium. On your next grow, if you keep the bottom third of the plant nicely trimmed for air flow, you should not have that issue, plus remaining buds will be denser (is that a word?). Not sure, should have said chunkier.

I never did get around to a final flushing, or ever changing the water flat out. Tried to follow the hydro biblefor feeding best I could. These autos definitely seem more sensitive to feeding however for a completely neglected plant, I am happy.

Harvested the middle plant as it was from first start in the journal. (Jan 03 sprouted)
May have let go a tad long judging by orange trics and the little seed pods starting. Hopefully I cut soon enough though. My last autoflower was full of seeds.

2 left in the room that were started a bit later.

Finally changed res water today. Will leave only water for a few hours then a small amount of nutrients.

The shorter, less nasty one is the auto 996 and the bushy one is gorilla cookies autoflower. The 996 seems more sensitive to over feeding I think as its color is less vibrant and more rusty looking.

2 plants left. Both from the feb 08 batch. The one I am posting on right now is the auto 996. It appears further along the other. Im thinking its time to harvest this one but am looking for other opinions.

I also am noticing some crystally appearance at base of trichomes. Is this the "sugar" or something to be concerned about?

Also seeing what I think might be little seed pouches forming? ? Little banana like things. Seems weird at this stage so thinking maybe I let it go too far. The date sprouted would suggest as much.

Ok I harvested last 2 plants in the room. I have a question.

During final trim, I noticed some seed sac looking pouches. I tried to squish out seeds to check but didn't really find any. Maybe a couple of green soft seeds. My question is, will these seeds be hardened during curing, or will they not amount to anything as weren't fully developed?

My first attempt at autoflower was full of seeds and so disappointing but was outdoors.

I was hoping to avoid that being indoors but possibly left too long.

Are the tiny yellow beaks shown earlier, the plant going hermie?
