Im having an issue with algae growing on my ebb and flow system. I have been using a T5 setup but recently went with a 250 hps and thats when the issue started. The res and table are white(not sure why), and im wondering if this and the added heat is the source of my problem. Any help or ideas is greatly appreciated.

thats sucks....are you flooding every day..if so...u shouldn't b having this problem. The reason the tray is white is because it helps make the setup brighter(more light)...

check the angle of your tray. Im not going to get into how many cycles you need, I dont know your medium. Use peroxide and spray the tray as needed

as long as the tray is leveled it should drain properly becuz the way that the trays are designed....well atleast the botanicare white trays are designed to drain that way.

the tray is draining properly so i am cleaning with the peroxide mix and covering it with some dark plastic. Thanks for all the advice guys
