Careful with your watering!!!
Been thinking about this all morning :)
I’m new to growing autos in soil
I got the medium perfectly moist before planting
I sprayed a light mist daily around the seed
Now it’s a cutie as in the image above 👶
When would you water again?

With that size pot and if it's wet like you say I wouldn't water for 14 days!
But probably could go 18 days.
Pick the pot up now its wet and feel the weight of it. Don't water it again till it's at least half the weight it is now.
If you over water it at this stage of life for an auto it will pretty much fuck its life. Less is more in this case mate.
Obviously when it's much bigger it will need to be watered more but not now!!
Good luck mate!!

Emilya has a great method for getting seedlings off to a good start. I think it's called, How to Water a Seedling. I've used her method a couple of times and loved it. Highly recommend it.

Here it is:
I do not advise using the spray bottle for very long at all, certainly not long enough to allow the dampening off virus to grow and take hold... it doesn't just happen because of water. As soon as the plants have established themselves by sending a root down deep, they will no longer swim around when you water them out to 3x their diameter. By this time you should be able to give a bit more water. And no, spraying the leaves is not going to hurt a thing... think about a rainstorm out in nature that actually gets a lot more violent and wet than we do. 20 sprays was probably about right, but yes, it is probably time to switch to the watering can now. Mind not to give them too much water yet.

Day 14
I will not give it water till day 18
The pot is still heavy
And poking the surface of the soil
It’s not completely dry

It's looking good mate!
If the pot is still reasonably heavy at 18 days leave it another day and check the weight.
Do not water it until the pot is noticeably lighter!!!
At this stage it's doing more underground than above but if you don't over water it it will take off soon!
