Best time to clear lower part of a plant during flower

had a slight oversight in my growing process. Learning as I go. I changed my focus on my vegging girls to get the canapy even and have more tops. That worked out well. I was really happy with how they looked. I got so consumed on the canapy that I didn't lollie pop them as ive always done in the past. I know not to touch them during stretch. I'm thinking the best time to clean them up would be between day 25-30 of flower. Does this sound right?
