A panga boat carrying narcotics was discovered overnight
The boat was initially spotted off the coast and it eventually beached near 25th street.
Border Patrol agents say there appeared to be 20 bales of marijuana on board.
Right now two people are in custody and authorities say it was a collaborative effort to capture the criminals.
This is just the latest of several incidents this year where small boats carrying drugs and suspected illegal immigrants have been discovered along San Diego area beaches.
