Brain injury recovery

Hey everyone - posted on another thread before but just thought I'd take this opportunity to intro myself, toke, and tell a little story. March 31, 2006 fell off a ladder at work and was found just in time in a pool of blood. Almost died the first night and spent the next 10 days in ICU and recovery. 3 blood clots, subdural hematoma. The next few months were spent learning to see clearly again (double vision), to balance/walk straight, to taste again (and I love eating so this was the hardest!), and doing everything with one arm (since I broke my other). Not to mention the headaches. So after a few weeks off MJ, started up again after a week of being home since the headaches/anxiety were becoming unbearable. Next thing you know the neurosurgeon said this is the fastest recovery he's ever seen from such an injury, especially the healing of the blood clots. Though fully recovered physically, now diagnosed as being bipolar as a result of the injury. Now growin' for the first time (posted in grow journals) and still recovering, but it's definitely a rehab project worth it's work. I just wish laws here in Illinois were like those in California(so I could take full advantage of the benefits), or if there was some other way I could join the fight to legalize... but I guess this is a good start. :bong:

Thanks for the comments guys! 420 I noticed another thread looking for moderators that already had candidates. Not only am I experienced and skilled in business writing/communications, I am currently still on leave and possess the ability to spend a great deal of time for the site. If you guys are still accepting candidates for any moderator positions (ideally MMJ) I'd definitely be interested!:bong:

.....You should tell your doctor about your smoking (I dont think they can tell the police.. can they?) ....
i could be wrong, but i think doctors can report crimes. i told a doctor once but i first asked them not to write what i was gonna tell them down. later when taking my records to a specialist i saw that they did. also if you get disability or something if its in your records perhaps in the future they might try do discontinue checks to drug users. i'm surprized they don't test already.

I think I posted to you before Coolthanksbye, but even if I did, welcome, you can find supportive and caring people here as i'm sure you've already noticed. keep on keepin on bro.
