Brown spots on lower Leaves and possibly brown roots?

Hi, First time grower just wondering if the brown roots are normal? I gave them a compost tea and a sprouted seed tea so far so could it be the tea?

Also are the brown spots on blue dream #1 a possible cal mag deficiency? I use cal mag ever water and I been foliar spraying weekly with small dose of 400 EC cal mag water to make up for my lack of buffering the coco.

(Seed #1 blue dream) emerged from soil 12/30
(Seed #2 blue dream) emerged from soil
01/02
Temps at 77F Humidity at 55%
4x4x7 vented grow tent
810w HTG LED grow light on 18/6
Light is 30in from seedling
Coco/perlite in solo cups
Watering with distilled water at 5.50 ph and 500 EC
Water with compost tea and spouted seed tea once a week

Looks like normal staining from your tea.

I not a good idea to expose roots to lights. Might sleeve them with colored cups or go ahead and up pot.

The spots look like something got on them, not a Mag (rusty) issue. If anything they look a bit dark. I’d back off on the Nitro for now.

Just noticed you’re in coco and perlite…. compost teas are pretty much useless in that medium mix.
Teas are meant to feed microbes, coco isn’t the best environment for generating microbes because coco doesn’t have organic compounds that need to be broken down. I’d suggest if your using teas, up pot into a good organic soil.

If you’re using RO you need to be adding 3-5mL of CalMag to your feeds. Foliage might be enough, but I doubt it.

In coco you should be feeding at least once a day at quarter strength to runoff at 5.8-6.1.

5.5 IS on the hydro/coco/soilless scale, but pretty low. If you’re trying to run true organics with compost teas, pH doesn’t matter… within reason. Not need to track EC or PPM either.

Good afternoon @S0AR3R cute ladies my friend.
In coco you have to feed nutrients every time at 5.8 ph no plain water ever.
Every day 5.8 keep them wet calmag in first.

Stay safe

I skimmed past the coco part. Lol!
Some dark coco.

Are you letting your cup dry completely out before feeding? I notice all the roots are collecting at the bottom.
I do got the clear cups in colored ones, when I water i water till 10% run off. It usually takes 2-3 days till I water again but I don’t let the Coco completely dry out just maybe a quarter inch from the top drys out. Sometimes I just let the plant tell me and wait till I see all the droop

Thanks Good to know! I was doing plain distilled water every other time I water
Unfortunately that can cause issues when they are that small.
You might get away with it once in a 5 gal but that small root zone it'll cause problems right away.
300 ppm ish is what you want to be feeding at this stage.
5.8 is important too always 5.8.

My plan is to go to organic soil when I go into my 5 gallons pots hence why I’m doing the teas right now but I had some sprouting issues with the grow stores pre amended organic soil I bought so I went with coco just to start my seeds. All my nutes are pretty much organic dry amendments and things to make teas so Im just using what I got for now I was gonna wait to transfer them into 5 gallon parts but would it be more best to do it now?

For what it's worth, I would transplant them soon, once the roots start "circling the wagons" at the bottom of the cup, they are getting rootbound. If those are photos and they are going into soil I would suggest a minimum of 7 gallon bags, 10 would be better, you've got a tall tent, so you should have plenty of height to work with.
