Bubble hash

try to find the 90,45, 25, These are the money bags including your 73. 185.160 up to 120 good for edibles just be careful with your mix very easy to make way to strong lol
90, 70, 45 and 28 microns seem to be their offered sizes. So what are you using for your diesel.? I can always purchase additional nags, honestly I just wasn't sure what size I had bought. It did come with the original packaging and pail.

Framer, where are you....in North America?

great white North for me I run a 5 bag system including 220 work bag makes 6 bag. I have 160,90,73,45,25. only 1 bag above 90 to catch edible grade no need for other high m bags

Nice, Ill look into that. Thanks Framer!

So I finished my first bubble hash run. I used about 130 grams of trim. I haven't weighed the end result yet because I don't have a press or a way to make it all manageable enough to weigh. The 90, 73 an 45 gave me the best stuff, with the 25 being not very good looking at all for some reason. The 120, 160 and 190 gave me just a little scrap of plant material the first run, and nothing at all the second run. As per madeframermrc's advice, I did the first run using just very gentle agitation. I let the material sit in the ice bath for 30 minutes before hand, agitated for 10, then let it sit again for 30. Second run, I put the drill on high speed and gave it a LOT of agitation. The biggest difference I saw was a MUCH greater amount in the 90 micron grade on the second run, but otherwise all pretty much equal to the first run in other regards.

Not sure how much that is in grams, but I feel like it was a pretty decent yield for a first time. This is the 1st run's 45 and 73 micron grade, I put it in a silicon mat to kind of "press" it together but it's mostly just flake still.

The 90 also turned out really good and there was a LOT more of that. Forgot to get a pic of it before I pressed it into a coin...

I used the sieve method and dried it on top of parchment backed with cardboard. Really didn't bother keeping anything above the 90 grade because it was all pretty worthless.

I got about this much on each run... (except the 2nd time, the 90 was a lot more than the 45, about the same on the 73 and 25)

So far though I'm not really seeing a HUGE difference between the high from the 90, 73 and 45. Looking at it up close with a pocket scope at 120x, I can see that they're pretty much all glandular heads in the 73 and 45 grade, but much smaller ones in the 45 grade with some small stalked trichomes here and there. I didn't get a look at the 90 grade, and the 25 grade was always quite dark and unappealing and I haven't even tried any of it.

I did go buy the cheapest, crappiest, leave-alluminum-flakes-in-my-hash press and made one coin with it before it broke...

I ended up ordering a better one but it won't be here for a while.

Used bubblebagdude's all-mesh bags.

All and all I'm pretty happy ( aside from the crappy pollen press I got ) and I'm probably going to be sticking with this method versus isowashing in the future. I'm not sure I'd really be wiling to sacrifice flower to it, but for trim I think it has similar yields and I'm much happier with this product.

Sick. Thanks for sharing your experience. I've yet to try my ice o lator bags. Need the trim to pile up first. Great looking keif Fert! Which press did you buy, so I don't, lol.

Merry Christmas too buddy......

I would avoid any of the t-handle threaded ones that are made of brass or aluminum. There's too much pressure on that thread for softer metals, they'll gall and flake off bits. Not to mention the sides allow a lot of stuff to just slip up around the side of the piston. I just got some no-name generic one from a headshop so I should have known better. This is the one I got off Amazon. It's a simple stainless steel tube, precision machined.

Thanks Fert.....still working on enough trim/bud to try the dry sift. My time will come lol..... I've copied the link you provided.
