I just wanted to ask Canadians ,and anyone with an opinion, what you think about Bush in general in relation to Canadian/US relations, involving the Drug War in North America, economics and anything pot related. :smokin:

I think it's all a show. I don't think Bush wants anything to do with Canada.

U have a point, but i think he just wishes he didnt need a relationship with Canada, but thats not possible, their to big and they share a border.
its whether he will just tell them what he wants or listen to what they want as well, and actually give a shit i guess. :goof:

I personally find it hard to believe that that president of yours went from being a drunk and cocaine addict to seeing God's way and clearing his path. I doubt he nowadays thinks drugs are baaaadd, the dweeb did them for years.

Anyways, I don't think that Bush will be a great influence on our marijuana laws. You guys got what, 11 states now that have decriminalized it? It's only better for us. It might go a province at a time here, starting with Bristish Columbia and Quebec. He's your president and not many Canadians like him, that probably includes our Prime Minister...

Our marijuana drug related black market does not depend on yours. Yours depends on ours, most likely. I'm talking about weed that comes from BC and that is smuggled over to the North West part of the US... I've never heard of weed from the US coming to us, only ours going to you. So for us, the drug cartels are good, in a way, not that i support the black market, but our pot related economy is probably getting stronger cuz of our illegal importations to the States... And let's not forget to mention the increasing number of people smoking weed, that too help the black market drug "economy" in both our countries. But over all, like I mentioned, in what seems to be our CND/US economical pot relationships, you help us out more then we probably do.

We are also an easier going country I believe. Our laws, some of them, are less harsh, and we are also more tolerant when it comes to marijuana. It'll only be a matter of time before it is decriminalized here.

:allgood:

i think your right, but thats the problem. somthin like 95% of pot grown in BC will be sold to the US illegaly. But in actuality thats only makes up 5% of bud here in the US(45% id grown within the US and 50% of it comes from Mexico)
But the Bush admin. claims that the bud from Canada is a groing threat to the US taht exceeds the % I just mentioned, but thats false.
theres no doubt that Bushes agenda is to stop this "immoral" drug influx and that will only be accomplished if he uses his powers as pres. of theUS to threaten Canadian economy by tariffs and shit if they dont comply. dont think its possible? he used military force to get Iraq. y not use economics to pressure Canada? The Bush Admin hates pot cuz its the drug of choice of Americans and his conservative and religious base hate it. Its a combo for disaster. i just hope the Canadian People dont give in and neither should their politicians. :smokin:

^^Ya well Holland isn't acutally that close like Canada is to the US... We are US's next door neighbor, we are alot closer to them then Holland is...^^

Go Bush! & Nader... haha :allgood:

No state has decriminalized weed...
well, at least i was under the impression that only for medicinal reasons it was lega/decrim...

bush is an idiot, bottom line. hes not even close to being qualified to run one of the most powerful countries in the world. i say pot will be close to being totally decriminalized in the next 25-30 years.

america is canadas friendly neighbor. i think bush feels the same way. you cant help where you have come from but you can help the way you treat people and plants. Most people in BC talk alot of shit about bush and americans. fuck it

im still up for moving to canada if i could set up a job and have a place to stay..........

Decriminalization: The state has decriminalized marijuana to some degree. Typically, decriminalization means no prison time or criminal record for first-time possession of a small amount for personal consumption. The conduct is treated like a minor traffic violation.

Medical marijuana: This state has medical marijuana laws enacted. Modern research suggests that cannabis is a valuable aid in the treatment of a wide range of clinical applications. These include pain relief, nausea, spasticity, glaucoma, and movement disorders. Marijuana is also a powerful appetite stimulant and emerging research suggests that marijuana's medicinal properties may protect the body against some types of malignant tumors, and are neuroprotective. Everything you said is true.
But America's president has always been a "world leader" in a sense, someone other countries confide in aswell as our own. I think Bush has made a bad example of how a "super power" if you will, interacts with other countries.
As soon as he's out of office, I feel there will a GREAT feeling of relief world wide.

PS: Canada is straight as hell. It would be a nice place to visit, but too damn cold to live there. anyway...SMOKE WEED!

yeh true but I think like he wants to control other counties to like Iraq he wants all couties to be like us and is always putting his nose where it doesnt belong. I mean America had a civil war like alot of other counties are having now and to my knowledge no one stuck there nose in our business true it was a long time ago but to my knowledge I could be wrong but I believe the only country that helped during our civil war was canada, they gave food. But you are right in everything you said to. I love seeing people feel this way about him. I would move to canada also but yeh is wayyyy to cold for my florida ass. However if there were no term regulations for presidency and Bush was in power for any longer I would have to deal with the cold because I would so out of here. :allgood:
