Sep 20, 2013 #2 G GreatLife4All New Member I don't know how tall it is... But if it is at least 5 inches tall - you should be OK to take a clone. But you could simply be cloning the issue that is causing it to die... if you see what I mean. Cloning will save a plant that has root rot. Cloning will not save a plant that is dieing from nutrient deficiency. Assuming there is some issue with the roots, you can simply chop the plant a little above ground level and use the whole thing as a clone.
