Fairly new to auto flowers, grown them a few times with good results. My question is in regard to triming a few shade leaves to open up bud sites. Not talking about a defoliation, just removing 10 or so leaves from the plant to open it up. What's the current wisom on doing that with autos, they have such a short vegging period I don't want to deprive them of energy, but would like to get more light to the bud sites. The plants are about 6 weeks old, they're about 14 inches tall and 3 feet wide, currently in pre-flower stretch.

If you've got enough leaves that you need to thin them out, go for it.
In my experience, autos are just like photos when it comes to that stuff....
And the more budsites that get good light, the more weed you're gonna get, auto or photo.
