MJ plants have 2 sets of chromosomes (diploids) some have extra sets known as (polyploids).My question is how can you breed for polyploids,also is there any way to recognize them as such.

if you can find a copy of connoisseurs guide to marijuana you will find a lot of information compiled from government studies. Polyploidy are discussed in length. This book was copyrighted in mid to late sixties and I'm not sure how accessible this might be. I've owned a couple of copies over the years and my last copy disappeared some time in the 80s They discuss grafting to hops which is polyploydal to get the extra chromosome...
