DIY. the Mother Hood

I ran into a problem a couple of years ago, I needed a mother plant for clones but my growroom was on 12/12. I started a plant in my bedroom but wifey complained bitterly about the smell (I just don't understand that). Partitioning the room was not practical so here's the simple solution I came up with.
The first picture is my Mother Hood in operation. It's very simple and the only real expense are the lights. My first one had one light and it worked just fine, I now use two because I needed something to do one day so I popped another light in there.

Materials list:
1 12"x30" galvanized flue thingy (name?), <$10.
1 or more 24" t5 fluorescent fixtures. <$27 each.
1 12v 80mm CPU fan, $5-10.
1 6-12v charger, $2 at a thrift shop if you don't have a drawer full of
them already.
2 drip pans big enough for the thingy to sit in.
Black paint for the pans if you want it light tight.
White paint for the inside if you want maximum light reflection
Some small screws.
Duct tape.
2 black plastic microwave dinner dishes, one smaller than the other, to
be cut in half for light baffles over the fan hole.

Tools:
Simple hand tools and drill with hole saw.

I think the pictures are self explanatory so I won't go into a step by step
how-to. If anyone has questions in that area let me know.

I recently turned it into a Father Hood to make some pollen, a digital timer was the only addition.

This could be used as a growroom if someone was very short of space. The plant would be small but at least it would be. I'm looking for a larger thingy, maybe 24"x4', to grow larger mothers.
