Egg, polypy looking thing needs ID

Could be a beneficial insect but maybe not...

If more show up and start looking like scale, then it's probably scale but as of now, it looks like an egg of some sort

Being a little paranoid now I look twice a day and so far so good. There's an occasional bug of some sort every now and then and a fgnat or 2. I suspect it was eggs. Disclaimer : I almost always wear rose colored glasses.
