fan and cool tube issue

Ok, I have a 4.5x4.5 grow tent with a 600w HPS in a cool tube. I have a rather large carbon filter, the filter coudl easily be used in a larger tent it is 8", the fan I have is also 8". I have it sucking air from my tent trough duct into the cool tube and out the other side.

Im having issues controlling the heat, when I turn up the fan speed it literally sucked the inside of the tent walls in its so strong.

Has anyoen had this issue before? Can I stop the fan from sucking the walls in? Should I get another fan just for the cool tube?

Im at work so no pics right this second but will post some later.

I just switched my light from a 125W cfl to my HPS.

I agree. Although that fan is way too big for that space; The fact that you mention turning it down should allow for heat removal.

When you vent you air; Where is it going? Is it going back into the room you are drawing cool air from? If so, that is your issue. You have to have a way to get the warm air out of the room/house/building, whatever. Peace
