Ive been reading a lot, this place has a ton of information and I am ready to start my first grow, But there is still a few thing I dont feel quite confident about yet.
I start with my setup,
note-starting with 4 feminized lowryders
I have a 2'x3'x5' tent (about) with 2 flapped vents on the side and in the back along the bottom , 1 ventilation hole about 4" diameter on the side close to the bottom, 1 exhaust hole (4")on the back side near the top and , 1 (4") exhaust hole in the top/roof
1 400w HPS light
1 "Magic Aero 4" bucket (5 gallon bucket with holes in the top that the plants row in that waters the roots of the plants directly ) +rockwool, nutes and PH kit
The whole thing is in a non heated, enclosed outside patio, with large windows i can open and close.
So far I have left one large window open
Ive had it up for 3 days (without the bucket) and The temperatures so far have been an average of 100 degrees directly under the light and 95 at the top of the tank with the outside temperature ranging from 30-65 Fahrenheit.
I am planning on buying only 1 exhaust fan and putting a carbon filter on it, but I have a few questions
-Do I need a centrifugal fan? Or can I get a cheap duct fan and just have an ordinary window fan blowing in from the bottom vents as well?
-Should I have the fans on a temperature switch or on all the time ?
-Should the exhaust fan with the carbon filter be at the top or bottom of the tent?
-any other suggestions at all?
Any and all help is appreciated
Thanks,
