Final watering?

This may sound silly, but I was wondering if there was any benefit of timing your final watering (soil grow) with harvest?

If so...

1) Why would you do it?

2) What would the timing schedule look like?

3) How does it benefit the harvest (dry, cure, final product)?

From what I read, the more you let the plant dry out in the pot, the less you have to dry it after harvest. Also, if the plant thinks it is dying, it puts everything into resin production. So that is 2 good reasons not to water too near harvest date. I went about 2 days past what would have been the regular watering on my first/last harvest.
