In the process of dry trimming my plants, I have found a couple of seeds in the trim. In 3 plants trimmed so far, I have found 4 seeds. Is this common or a sign that my plants had started to hermie?

Gift that keeps on giving. I usually get a handful.

Yes you had a NANNER somewhere that was viable.

Some plants will grow a male bit down low early in flower shortly after flip and make a few seeds that way. When you get a handful thats how it usually happens.

Those seeds are good - pop them they will be fems and usually its the same strain as the plant you found them on. The male bits are usually sterile but we get lucky every once in a while.

When you read strain descriptions and in the genetics like say In seedfinder website you see something like

GG4 (probably) x Tahoe OG - that probably is what you are experiencing. Then other folks just make stuff up.. can find a keeper in there. The first generation from your seed will look pretty much exactly the same as the mother plant. If she was pollinated by her neighbor sister then thats where things get interesting.
