Got some more autos in from 420 (woa that was fast, about 1 week). I’ve gotten antsy and decided to swing through the horticulture store and try my chances with coco/perlite mix. Also grabbed some beastie bloomz and terpinator. Will pop 3 or 4 of them and drop in solo cups sometime soon. Anyone recommend using a root stimulator or no? Any info is appreciated. Cheers

Just their auto mix pack. 5 of each...amnesia haze, bkueberry, and northern lights.

I personally only use root stim on clones. I’m curious if there is any benefit using with beans once germinated? Interesting.

Gave them their first dose of big bloom, grow big, and calmag yesterday, at about 1/4 strength. Gave them just under 1L each. They are looking good but I feel like they aren’t doing a whole lot, not real gaining any height, just getting more dense with leaves. Quite a few bud sites I can’t get light to

They look good. Just a little extra on the perlite. Lol

Hey everyone! I just joined today. Quarantine led me to a new hobby, so this is my first grow, of anything, ever.
That being said, holy crap there is a lot to learn but also so much information here on this site, so thanks for that!

So, I have a 24”x48”x60” tent, carbon filter/inline fan 188CFS (ordered, not here yet, USPS lost it), mars hydro TS1000, hygro,
fan, humidifier, etc.

I got 3 royal gorilla auto’s from RQS and germinated in peat pellets with a dome. They went in Wednesday night and I had 2 sprouts this morning, one hasn’t done anything. Temp is about 78F, RH is around 70%. I have the watts turned all the way down on the TS1000 with it about 6” above my seedlings, lux is around 4800-5000. Going to run 18/6 schedule then xplant to 5 gallon fabric pots with FFOF with about 20-30% perlite. I will probably just use FF nutes for veg and flower. Sounds like I have a couple weeks to get that together. Any tips, tricks, or constructive criticism will be gratefully accepted. Look forward to talking to you all and happy to be here!!

Getting some stretch. The one has grown almost 2” in the past day or two. I’m not sure what’s going on with the other? It has zero signs of preflower, but doesn’t look like it’s going hermie. It’s been a little weird from the beginning. They are the same strain and the other has been pre flower for a couple of weeks. Did some defoliating to see if it would take off.

still haven’t popped the new auto’s...still reading about coco/perlite grows to make sure I have everything in order before I start. And I think I want to get some T5’s for the seedlings as I don’t have an accurate lux meter for my LED. Andddd I think I’m going to get another light since I only have this TS1000...just don’t know what yet, but probs stick with LED. Anywho, hope everyone has a jammin Sunday and start to your week!! Not much new. Had the tiniest bit of nute burn, and that’s only at 750ppm/1.5 EC, pH 6.5. Very mild though. The one plant continues to begin flower, maybe still stretching. Main shoot has grown 5-6 inches in the past week or so. Smells great.

The other plant, still just veg’ing. Dense foliage. I’m not training it or anything, and STILL no signs of pre flower. It’s an auto and Sunday will be 7 weeks. Running light 24/0. Should I give it some 12/12??? Seems kind of weird. Any input appreciated. Hope everyone is well and enjoying a socially distanced holiday weekend!!

Well I flipped the lights off for 12 and feel like that runt grew a lot over night. But, on the one flowering, I’m seeing some rust spots. Calcium issue? I’ve been using calmag at about 3ml/gal but bumped it up to a tsp per gal this morning. Been feeding once a week and watering with just some ph water and calmag the second time each week. PH of nute solution 6.3-6.5
Any help appreciated. Thanks!

Plants doing good, the slow going girl has taken off since I tried 12/12. Notice tiny pistils in only 2 days. So I took some big fan leaves off and tied some shoots down since they started reaching the sides of the 5 gal pot. The other chicky is starting to frost a little and smelling dope! It’s small but I’ll get some smoke off it so I’m happy for my first taste of home grown.

I got a new viparspectra 600W in and was planning to just add it but I swapped out the MH TS1000 for it...no reason, just did.

Germ’d 4 new seeds from 420, autos: 1 blueberry, 1 northern lights, 2 amnesia haze. BB and NL doing fine. The AH not so much, one never came above ground and the other looks like it’s just stopped, with cotyledons not opened up yet. I’ll keep giving it a chance but I put another AH and BB in water to replace those. Will start a separate journal for that as I’m growing in coco, using sensi bloom coco, instead of soil this time.

Figured out my rust spots were actually rust fungus but it’s under control. My tent go up to 80% RH one or two nights, and I’m sure that’s what did it. I’ve purchased dehumidifier now, and removed most of the affected leaves. One of the girls is smelling so strong. Buds aren’t really fattening up though. Will see how it goes. Just moved 4 new little ones into the tent as well. Cheers everyone

Chopped one gorilla glue down and drying. It won’t be much but it smells strong and is crazy sticky. The other GG is well on it’s way. Burnt the hell out of it with low dose big budz but she’s still doing good. Totally diff pheno than the other GG. Had no smell the whole time, until now. And now it smells very sweet with a hint of skunk. She should produce more than the first, buds are prob 2x the size. Cheers!
