How are the outdoor growing conditions in FL?

Dry this year from what I hear.

Ive already planted but since its my first time Im only growing one plant so that its easier to maintain and keep up with.

But what if it turns out to be male?

I'd go for 4

Then there's rippers, deer, rippers, a dog peeing on it, rippers, a bad BAD insect infestation, rippers, weather problems devastating it, rippers, freak accident...

Oh yeah, and rippers.

One plant is easier to take care of but it really sucks to have something happen to your only one along the way. Or worse yet, to have taken care of it all through the season and return to cut it down only to find that someone else did it for you the night before.

Most people plant several even if they don't do much (or anything) to care for half of them. There's always that possibility that they'll need them.

its growing in my backyard and if it happens to be a male im just gonna save the pollen and nextspring ill grow for some ladies!!!
