Yeah I read about your A5. I got that on my wish list when I do a 12week grow. Trying to stay at 9weeks this round... maybe I’ll skip the WW this time. Might be why they give so many away...
you’ll like the Alaskan Purple. Everyone who’s had it likes it. I’m hoarding the rest for myself. I’ll look a little harder at Ace.

Its like she is on steroids ...... I have some other ACE gear too. I Love ACEs lines , Had nothing but good luck with those

Yeah me too and the flower time is shorter than their other strains, on seedsman anyway.

Last night I gave the Jacks a shot of cal mag. They weren’t completely dry but not bad. The bottle was full. I don’t know if that’s the correct amount, but that’s what they got. We’ll see what that does.

The cal mag is 6 egg shells, 1tbs epsom salt & 1tbs of molasses. They looked good this morning.

Dang---that calmag showed a difference!!

What soil mixture did u use? I have to get another ph tester.....mine won't get off of 7. Read in here somewhere, that some were having trouble with theres; and someone else told them to use a wirebrush on it first.....so I tried that..Same. But when I cleaned it off with vinegar the needle went wild; don't know what the problem is.....so better get another one before my seeds get here.

Good morning 420. I woke up to about 1/2” of growth. Topping doesn’t seem to have bothered them much. I watered Thursday and they’re almost completely dry. I started a tea and I’ll let it brew & water tonight or in the morning. Tonight would be a 16hr brew. I added a 1/4tbs of bone meal for microbes to the bag. Water is dechlorinated already. Now just watch em grow. I’ll work the 2 mains out & everything else back over the pot.

It’s getting pretty ripe in there. I smelled the outside vent and all that was there was a hint of dry ona. I might be able to veg these awhile. Another month would be nice. We’ll see.

Also the environment is steady at 76.5F day, 69F night & 50% humidity. it'll have to do.

I was pleasantly surprised when I got home from work. I think raising the lights was the answer. They grew, so I guess that’s a good sign. They were looking kinda droopy but I figured it was the Watering. That wasn’t the problem. I wasn’t raising the lights enough when they grew. I raised them about 6” last time and they took right off. Tomorrow I’ll have to raise the lights again. Big difference for 12hrs I think. The Mars in the middle is 425 umols at 15”. The cobs 50% at 10” is around 400 umols. Measured once now

I’m just eyeballing it. Not that it matters with the cobs. The BM in the middle has no sign of light stress. All the others do. Something about those cobs.

I plucked the leaf with the brown spots. It was worse than this morning but it was just that leaf, nothing else. The lights again? Looks like cal mag def but it’s in the wrong spot for that. Idk.

I’m running out of room in a hurry. I’ll be flipping these sooner than I thought. Not complaining.

They got some LST this morning. They were not happy. Pulled the taller branches to the outside to open up the middle. I trimmed a decent amount but didn’t go crazy. Trimmed the stuff at the bottom that was laying in the dirt and over the edge of the pot. I also took the twisted stuff and such out of middle. We’ll see what they look like tonight.

Geez,,,,that's what I'm scared to death of doing....trimming them....that's why I'm reading all I can....I believe I said yesterday that I was using flour. light......duh; I meant LED's. From what I've read, that takes MORE calmag, right?

Yep. I’ve never had a problem doing just that. I know there is a number of microbes that don’t get along and it is possible to burn organic plants, but I’ve never been able to do it lol, I way over feed. I just throw it all in there and let them duke it out. My soil is my own mix for the bottom 3rd of the pot. Fox farm or whatever for the rest. I just read a couple recipes and used what was available. It’s in my 1st journal and I’ve been adding amendments since.

BM 2 finally hit 62%. Last time I weighed them all they were 41oz. Doubt it’s changed much so we’ll call it 40oz. So I guess that’s it for this one. I’ll keep it open a bit while I watch all your journals and maybe a smoke report. I really have only been smoking JH 2 & AP because they taste the best. JH 2 is very uplifting and great in the morning. Puts me straight into project mode and I sometimes almost forget to drink my coffee. They’re both getting tastier and stinkier by the day and it’s getting harder to hide it, not that I’m complaining.

It’s getting pretty cold at night. 64F. Daytime lights off it’s 68F so that’s not bad. I put on the heater and fan on medium and it brought it up to 72F. That’s night lights off. So I should be able to only have to run it at night on low.

Seedings are about to out grow the dome. 2L bottles are going on tomorrow probably.

Neither of the other B.M’s sprouted yet. So that’s 1 for 3 so far on those. Maybe I’m not letting the tap root get long enough? Idk. I’ve planted them short before with success. I’d like to get something else up before the end of the weekend. That’ll put 1 plant a week behind. Not sure it’s worth it at this point.
