Ok my question for y’all is. I have full spectrum LED panels. is there any harm in running full spectrum in vegetation stage

No harm, it will give them more light which in theory will increase growth.

I do believe if you run only the veg switch it will keep them shorter with tighter node spacing.

Well thank you Billpopy79. Unfortunately the lights I’ve ordered I don’t believe have the veg and bloom switches. I read that a panel with more diodes and a bit lower wattage is a bit better.
I got a 300 watt full spectrum with 334 diodes

Ah I see, that will still be absolutely fine for veg, just start with the light at around 2 feet from your plants, you can slowly lower it and see how the plants react.
I get my led strips to about 13" in veg and down to 8" in flower.
