Ghost’s Third Grow: Indoor

I’ll be growing 5 plants . All are feminine. 1 Terp Town and 2 Curb Check from Cannorado Genetics. 1 Cancers Nightmare from Sin City and finally Purple Punch from Barney’s. I wish that I had time to mess with my regular seeds for I have some fabulous strains . I don’t need any males in my world atm. It’s been a long wait , very painful watching some of you guys journals. However, I’ve learned a few things here and there and hope to apply what I’ve seen
Growing in 7 gallon pots , got a new light and figured out how to get rid of all those cords inside the tent . I didn’t anticipate my electricity being turned off by light switch in this room so I’ll have to unplug the bulbs from ceiling. No I’m not going into the wall and disconnecting. This room was not intended for much , I think the guy before me may have done exactly what I’m doing. Everything will go to one plug in the wall but I managed with two extension cords that each had 3 plugs . Exactly what I needed 6 plugs . I hope I don’t need another fan but I think 2 will be sufficient.

I plant directly into the pot , no transplants here . Seeds are germinating now , hopefully we will see life in next 4 days .
Question , do I ever turn on the lights in next 4 days while they sit in tent ? Or just leave in dark and keep soil moist ?

Thank you, I usually just let the environment do its thing . I have room temps around 70 and pretty high humidity. I’ve been able to keep like this for 3 days and outside temps have ranged from 28 to 62 degrees F . I’ve been spraying with a bottle the center of pot once a day keeping it moist. One fan running. I’m hoping to see life in the morning

1/5 has sprouted. The one closest to black fan is the only one so far. I was 6/6 my last grow but my conditions were much more favorable than now. I’m pretty sure my tent temps were too low days 1 and 2. I got them up to just below 70 and I think this is too low. I’m running the lights for a few hours to heat tent up and stabilize room temps . Hopefully in the morning the others will follow this guy . I believe I should have taken advice and made some globes

Exactly one week from day I sewed . These four are on their way . Soaking a 5th seed to hopefully get going with these 4. In the middle of the pot there’s a stem . The tallest will not shake its shell

Man I’ll never germinate this way again. It’s been 24 hour care and adjusting and surgery. I could not find a straight answer as to help the hard shell off or let Mother Nature run its course.
I opted for surgery. All are off minus one and it should be off by morning. There’s a better way to do this for sure. I had to dig them out around day 3 they were so deep . Never found the 5th one . The new seed is soaking . It’s gonna be a struggle keeping this room the right temp . Temp outside keeps dictating inside temp no matter what I do upstairs . I think that’s one problem, it’s upstairs

Day 8 and 4 are going well considering my conditions and having to constantly mess with temps . I feel like no 5 will show life soon . I just put another seed but this time had a 1/2 inch taproot started . One want loose that damn shell

Day 10 from the very beginning However I probably should call this day 3. Third day since showing the first set of two leaves . My fifth bean is finally moving on up as well.

Lowered both lights to around 36 inches , checked tent after being away for 9 hours and inside temp read 81. I gotta watch this close . I have a solution as long as temps don’t go above 60 outside . Anyhow all five are up and growing

Oh I’m using MC @ 4g per 2g H2O right now. I ordered some other stuff that’s not sponsor related so I won’t name them but It has not made it yet .
Ordered in November, told shipping first of January. Haha . I could not wait any longer

17 days in , doesn’t look like much change so I’ll bore ya once a week

Day 18, I sorta like the time lapse , I can’t do this much longer, I need to move them around soon . I understand now what people mean by the plants talk to you. They said, thank you for raising those lights back up

I wished I’d remembered reading Emilya how to water a potted plant . I forgot about how the root ball grows and it’s almost imperative to up pot in order to grow a healthy plant to the finish line . Well it’s a little too late now and I will make do. I did ok in 5 gallon pots last grow but next round I’m gonna grow in smaller pots and then up pot as they grow . I’m over working

I believe what’s driving the growth is I’m watching the water and I’ve been able to maintain 70 % humidity at an average of 77 degrees , it’s got as high as 79 and low as 72. At night the humidity drops to 55 and temps of 68. I have to adjust the floor heater and run a humidifier but it’s manageable. I just hope I’m able to establish a root ball of some sort
