Day 22, I am gonna try something new tomorrow

Day 23 maybe , looking good considering I potted them way to soon . Just dressed with GSC earth dust so I’m discontinuing MC , just water till the end

Day 27, back 3 topped on Sunday after the 4th node . Front left is what you call a bad seed or some messed up genetics . If this was a large grow you’d pull this plant but because I can’t start over with one seed I’m gonna finish her for now. I might change my mind later . She’s just not growing and she is very thin . No foliage and one side comes out smaller than its opposite or the leaves are messed up looking or deformed . The plant that grows some funky shape buds lol

Nice @Ghostwriter31 , they're coming along. Sorry I am late to this, doesn't look like you had a lot of direct feedback. Seems you're doing great anyway. It's definitely good form to read up anything @Emilya has written up if you are growing in soil.

Did you mention what kind of light it is you're using?

Did you pre soak your seeds and germinate them on a plate, or soak and then sow directly to soil?

I thought your early pics (no plants) showed pots way too wet, maybe I am wrong.

Are these Autos or Photoperiod?

There are some EXCELLENT pectorals around here of some spectacular training methods. Sorry I am a little too stoned at the moment to dig them up :cheesygrinsmiley:

Another referral I can't find at the moment relates to humidity. As I recall, in veg state we want high humidity to around 55.

Keep up the good work, it seems to be going very well.

I’ve been able to keep my humidity at 65% with a humidifier outside the tent being sucked in from the return on my exhaust, temps at 78, I’ve been lucky with that aspect so far

My lights are one spider farmer 2000 and one GSC V2 180 ( green sunshine co)

I did not soak , went directly into soil . That was one mistake I’ll make note of and not repeat. Many reasons I will sew directly into solo cups next time , maybe soak before

using GSC earth dust and MC , may discontinue MC but hesitant too atm, not sure why

watering , yeah I am still figuring that out but feel like I’m starting to read them better each day . Emilyas been a big help and I often refer to her sticky’s . She had a way of saying boy you fckd up and here’s what you need to do but in her special way I guess lol

im gonna try LST , and use some doles to tie down branches I suppose , picked everything up just a while ago

Oh and they are photos, going to veg them another 2 weeks maybe 3

A few pics from a different angle

Top dressed this evening with boost GSC, one week I’ll flip lights to 12/12, I believe I’m gonna attempt a SOG using a trellis as support . Raised the lights because this one plant got burned a bit

Trellis is an area I am hoping to improve on from my 1st grow. Trellis netting was included in my first kit, so that is the method and material I have been working with.

I found two used and discarded curtain rods to help secure the trellis front and back. I pull the netting through the curtain rod while twisting it so that the net tightly holds the rod. The rod is secured to the tent frame with cable ties so that it can be moved down when the girls are ready.

This way, it is ready to go when it is needed.

I use very little of the roll of trellis in this manner and expect the roll to last for many grow cycles :cheesygrinsmiley:. I just discard the old trellis at harvest time.

I think the SCROG was very helpful to achieve yields as predicted by the seed bank. All the yield estimates seems to be based on the metric system with 1 square meter being the standard measure. My tent is on the Imperial Standard at 2 feet by 4 feet. Doing some math, this equates to 3/4 of a square meter. The Wappa Sisters were estimated at 500 gr/m by Paradise Seeds. In theory, the maximum yield for my tent is 375 grams. Furthermore, I managed to fill up only about 3/4 of my trellis netting because the canopy did not reach the corners. Adjusting for this, the maximum expected yield drops to 281.25 grams. After drying (393) the cured yield was 251 grams. Pretty close. An area of improvement I hope to achieve in grow 2 is by harvesting as individual lobes mature vs whole tent at one time. I think this will be even more critical grow#2 because of the Sativa dominant in the house (Caydence CoCo) , the 4 strains vs 1 strain, and Georgia lagging a week or more. Based on my limited experience I highly recommend trellis scrogging.

I’m gonna try my damndest to keep a even canopy. Monday will be 5 weeks so I’m gonna flip them Monday . I cleaned the tent floor and put up the trellis . I think they look good except the one that got burned

I think my squares are too big

Thank you , I’ll have a read

Day 35 I believe. If I’m reading these plants right all five are ore flowering so I’d say they are telling me to flip the lights. They are all about the same height.

Looks about right @Ghostwriter31 .

I went 42 days to 12/12 and my plants got a little too high

They'll stretch quite a bit for weeks to come even under 12/12. Make sure your 1st mesh is not too low like mine was :cheesygrinsmiley:
Thank you , I believe I’ll raise just a bit on that note ........... I was thinking I had a little low when I checked them tonight. I’ll make that adjustment in the am . Honestly, I have no clue what I’m doing but it’s fun learning and I sure like free weed / medicine. I was pretty damn proud of my second grow . I had to wait 9 months to continue on ward due to moving across the state . We closed on this house December 14 and by December 24th my room was set and seeds in soil . For 9 months I bought supplies from dirt to lights to seeds , and read the forums . And here I be :)

Day 39
I snapped a main top last night on one of the better plants so I just stopped messing with them . Purple Punch has a lot of vegetation that I’m trying to leave . Honestly I really don’t have a clue , just going with my gut so to speak . I’m so afraid I’m gonna end up with some serious deficiencies .

Day 43, I haven’t been able to care for the plants this past week. I get home when lights are off, so I have about 15 minutes in the morning before I leave for work. Feeding was water only because I feel like my Earth Dust is doing it’s job . We will see, I’m gonna pull up netting and thin out some garbage from around each plant . This will be last time I mess with the net , last time I move the plants also one week into flower. Hard to believe these plants will finish in about two months
