Good Hydroponic System? Help!

I am a novice grower and wanted to know if this hydro set up would work ok. Any opionions much appreciated!

4 gallon resevoir for 6 plants is way to small IMO. I think you will have huge ph flucuation throughout the day. 5 gallons of nutrient per plant is (ideal). Ofcourse it's not necessary to achieve good results. I run about 2.5 gallons per plant. Although I do experience alot of ph flucuation, it is managable.

With a system like that your basically gonna end up with 1 bush because the pots are so close together. You'll have problems getting light to penetrate the canopy to the lower bud sites. I would definately recommend a HID light source if you plan to use that system.
