Harvesting: can I use an aircon instead of a dehumidifier for harvesting and drying my weed?

Hi everyone.

First time Harvesting

I would like to ask for advice & opinions if i can dry and cure my bud with an aircon instead of using a dehumidifier. In essence they are relatively similar?
Will this work?

In all honesty you don't need either to dry and cure your bud perfectly, Unless your dealing with lots of temperature and humidity changes daily in your drying/curing area. But if you are dealing with fluctuation I would still go with a dehumidifier cause that will take care of the humidity no matter what and that during harvest time is your enemy when too much.
