Assume that my Indica strain is vegging indoors in a properly sealed grow room, employing Cornell's CEA in soil underneath 1000W MH vented, well ventilated hood.
Assume that I have 8' usable vertical space from top of soil to 12" below hood. Traditionally, I would play it on the safe side and switch to 1000W HPS & 12/12 timing below 4' growth height.
How do I recalculate if my height during vegetation phase is (1) intentionally compromised by protracted training (perhaps SCroG technique) in (2) a CO2 augmented environment? Don't get fixated on the trellising, but instead what is happening with the juvenile vascular physiology of the young plant.
