I'm new to the medical marijuana scene, having last smoked about 30 years ago. My state unfortunately does not have MMJ, but I am trying to learn about it anyway. I have a spinal cord injury due to a motorcycle accident 3 years ago and I'm considering MMJ to alleviate some of the neuropathic pain and muscle spasms. I guess I'll be lurking a lot doing research and asking dumb questions trying to figure out what I need to do for me. Great looking site with lots of good information. Looking forward to being a part of the community.

High and welcome to the 420Magazine family. Very sorry to hear of your accident and hope you will find all the information you are looking for to make the right choices for yourself when it comes to cannabis. Wingman has some great links for you and feel free to ask all the questions you have. Welcome!

Peace and 420 :420:

Thanks TJ, Wingman has given me some information in addition to the links he provided. Want to be sure I'm clear on strains etc. Indica is more geared toward pain and spasticity (my main interests) and sativa is more of a head buzz? What are some particular strains that I should look for if/when it becomes available in my state? Feel free to jump in anyone, all opinions will be welcome.
Once again, I'm impressed with the willingness of people on this forum to help noobs out without all the insults and flames that happen on some forums. :bravo::bravo::bravo:
