Help can't figure out why it's dying

Northern California grower all my plants are doing great except for this one "dose dough"

all the sudden died no bugs can't figure it out any suggestions

photos deliberate?
I've got no idea how that happens but that sudden ageing can't be right. Progeria its called (joke.. I'm talking about the people in the two photos )
The plant, seen it afew times on internet but never experienced myself... Any chance of some sort of contamination. Herbacide or something? Sucks man...
