Well, finally have to officially ask for some help. Though I have never posted, I feel like I know all the Deep Water Culture (esp. Roseman) very well from the wealth of info you have here. So first off, thanks! I have also figured out a few things that I think could help others and will post them when this (my first) round is done...but in the meantime need some advice.

The monster I have (will get up pics soon) is so tall its actually bending off the ceiling! To Roseman's and the rest of the Deep Water Culture credit, this was all done per the infamous CFL tutorial. I had a couple other runts that have already harvested but she is the one I was hoping for.

Basically I am running into a time issue, so the question is are there anyways to either rush this lady or slow her down. In 10 days, will be gone for 10 days and don't have anyone that can harvest her though they will be able to maintain the reservoir. Tomorrow is 11 (yes, 11) weeks of flowering. The strain was supposed to be faster, but not looking that way. Any suggestions on what I should do. Never thought it would take her this long, and no way to change my plans...HELP!

tie her down...that should give you at least 12-18" more room....its too late to supercrop
11 weeks is along time...obviously a sativa dominant plant.
can you post a pic? Without a pic I would say tie her down and harvest in 10 days....cut your loss..if any....Im curious to see the plant

Thanks PitViper, let me clarify. Actually not worried about the height and its far from a loss. Lots of flowers but based on what I am seeing i think the "right time" to harvest will be in the middle of the time I am gone. So in general is it better to do it earlier or later? And/or is there a way to speed up or slow things down so the "right time" falls outside of the window of time I will be gone?

Love,

Judging from the pictures you have provided, def sativa, and I would say you will make 20 days by time you get home they will be ripe and rockin. Can you explain what the trichomes look like? What does the head on most of them look like? do the trichs have heads yet? Clear or white? What strain is it?

From those pics, i think you have a couple more weeks left, so tie'em if you wanna, but get them in a good solid spot that you can really get some light into them to help fatten them up. Do you have a scope to check trich's? I really think at least 2 weeks left before she ready. The 'hairs' are all white still, so that should tell you it needs more time.

OH And great lookin plant!
