Hello, i have a rather simple question but i couldnt find an answer using the search tool... well, my question is:

Is there a way to raise the PH of my water with household stuff? anything i can use??

To drop PH is easy, there are many ways (like some drops of lemon), but to raise i don't know any :(

Problem i have is that, with my water, once i add the nutes, it drops from 6.8 to 4.4 or something... real nasty.

ansiously awaiting some light on that hehe

Peace.

Thanks man, great information :) Since im trying to find some alternative to the use of PH+ and PH- products.

I will give baking soda a try... and as you said, in small doses :)

Any other substance? anyone?

Just go buy some PH up and PH down, its only $13 bucks each and you get a lot for your money, a little of that stuff goes a long way.

damn! 13 bucks each!? that's way too much money.... around here it's like 4 bucks each for a 1.25 fl oz bottle. how big of a bottle is that $13 one?
