How do i know when to stop using nutrients? First grow.

I switched her over to 12/12 Febuary 5th,2014. I hear your suppose to stop using nutrients 3 weeks before harvest? How do i know when im three weeks before harvest? I hear its 8 weeks average, but some strains could take longer?

Each plant seems to have her own character.
Read through kingjohnc and labexperiments thread on brainstorm haze.
All you need is therem and kingjohnc is a detailed journal keeper
For the finishing look to the pistils, and trichome color.

The general rule of thumb is indica, 8 to 9 weeks, sativa, 11-12 weeks. 3 weeks is a pretty long time to go without feeding. I just switch to plain, PHed water one week before harvest.

look up the strain you have and you should find some info on the flowering time.
in soil its the last two weeks you flush and stop nutes.

if you started flowering the 5th that means you should be 5 weeks on the 12th of march
if your strain has a flowering time of nine weeks witch is common
you should flush and stop nutes around the 26th witch is at seven weeks

Thank you, i was told this is a hybrid of skunk/northern lights. So i guess its a sattiva/indica hybrid?

Nice! Thanks again. I accidently fimmed it i guess instead of topped it? Last measurement was about 3 weeks ago and it was 24 inchs i believe. Ill get an exact measurement later for you.
