How do you clean your airstones in hydro?

Anybody know of good liquids to help eat away at the leftover sludge that accumulates inside airstones and blocks airflow.?

Mix a solution of one part bleach or vinegar to three parts fresh water and soak your airstonefor a full twenty-four hours. Vinegar is good for removing calcium deposits. Remove airstonefrom solution and place it in a container of fresh water. Attach an air line and let the airrun for five to ten minutes.

It is basically same thought as if it was in an aquarium /fishtank.
