Just finishing 8th week. 28”x28” tent with Mars Hydro FC1500 (150w), COM Stonington soil in 1 gallon cloth pots. Feed/water every other day. Mephisto’s 4 assed monkey. Bud #1 looks further along.
How far off are the buds?

About 2weeks - 3 weeks or so
Wait until all hairs turn orange, crinkle inwards. Then time to check trichomes

As a rule of thumb I don't harvest white pistils.
When the pistils turn red and crinkle in you know flowering is finished.
Then I start checking trics.
At the same time she will stop eating as flowering is finishing.
It will take longer and longer to drain her pot.
If she is still eating regularly she is still flowering and building for you.
