How to germinate seeds Outdoor?

Dear growers,

how can I germinate my seeds outdoor?I can't germinate indoor because I have no place for that.

are you just looking to drop them in the actual dirt? I've chucked some on a compost pile once for shits and giggles,, let them fester for a day or three and most sprouted. Then I carefully moved them to another place.

Hopefully you can/have ammend the soil that you are going to use for them??? Know anything about the soil in that area your planting them?
