If the Leaf will come off easy...take it off?

The leaves are just turning a lighter shade of green and will the SMALLEST amount of effort they are removed.

Now they are amoust in there 5th wk of flower...
should I be allowing the plant to use up more of the leaf?

No, if they come off with no effort, that's fine, that's about one step before they will fall off anyways from the breeze, so you are fine. If they don't give easily, just wait, I find my plants usually want to take at least half of the leaf's resources before dropping it, so if it's not about 1/2 dead or so, it might not be ready.

Also, in flowering, the plant will drop a lot more of the lower leaves, especially in the later part of flowering, as the plant uses up the stored starches in the leaves to help fuel bud production.

All that is normal and natural.

Dacob pretty much nails it here. I'd let the plant use the resources from the leaves. I only remove them if they are obviously dead. If they have green in them I let them stay until they are completely yellow. In fact, I rarely remove leaves as they will usually fall off on their own.

Yea.. A lot of people say don't remove fan leafs at all, just let them go on their own, while other say leave the leaf if it's 25% or more healthy.
