Illuminated Microscope

I've used the radioshack microscope for years. It takes some practice, but you cannot beat the price. I bought another one recently (I misplaced mine) and a customer who was by the register gave me a big grin. He said that he had one, and we both knew what we used it for.

I just recently bought one. It's pretty damn sweet. It's hard to tell color because of the prism effect of the plastic lenses, but you can definitely tell how transparent the trichomes are. I was surprised by the quality of the image at that magnification level. At top power, the tops of the trichomes look like they're the size of basketballs.

For $11.00, you can't beat this thing with a stick. Go get one right now.

Jewlers Lupes work well and the surface area of the viewing glass is large enough to put a camera lense to and get an awesome macro shot.
