New to forum and did a quick search with no results
I was wondering if anybody knows how to set up solar panels to power a 4 K grow room.
There has got to be a way and I'm pretty sure someone here can help me out.

Of course you can, you simply need a battery bank large enough to support the pull and enough panels to keep them charged. This isn't a DIY project. You need a full set-up with the panels battery pack inverter and/or grid tie.

So what I hear is that the first item of the design is the battery bank?
I thought that I would add up the Watts of the panels to match what I needed. For example to run a 4K room, I would need 1 of the 45 Watt panels from Harbor Freight.
Does anybody have any methods to calculate needs?
You might want to use a google search or call a local contractor about panel installation. They will generally do a consultation for free in hopes you will buy a system. If I am correct I think you was trying to say you would tie 100 of the 45 watt panel together. This would give you 4500 watts. However, there will be some lose in the charging and conversion to ac and you would have to have sunlight = to the amount of time you are using a 4k watt draw.
