Is it time to harvest? Please help!

Hi guys,

This is my first plant and I'm wondering if they are right to be harvested or not. I have read a bit about the process, but it seems the white pistils have disappeared...

This is an auto-flowering seed and I have used the 20on/4off schedule from the beginning.
It was planted on November/18.
I used a simple oil mix with some perlite and after 2 or 3 months started adding liquid fertiliser fortnightly.
The plant did not grow much and the leaves look a bit small a out of color, so I might have messed up somewhere (but it looks like that on their site)... it smells awesome though!!

Anyway, below are some pictures taken at different times a while ago.

Appreciate all the help.
Cheers,

I'm with Chris that you need to add a few more details but two things that pop out to me right away are that you were adding fertilizer fortnightly. You should be adding fertilizer every time you water to get those big fat dense buds. The discoloration that you see on your plant, ( the purples Etc) is generally caused by temperature. Although it could also be caused by lack of nutrients that your plants require in order to complete their flowering cycle.

Also, forget dates when it comes to harvesting your plant.....they're a good ball park. You need to get as close up to the buds as possible in order to take a picture. In order to make an accurate prediction for Harvest, we need to see the resinous glands on the flower.

Ok guys, I have some closeup shots taken yesterday.
What got my attention is that most of the pistils have already darkened.
Thanks for the help so far.1730804173080517308071730808173081117308121730813

You need to get a pocket microscope (those cheap $5 ones on eBay actually work, but you can get ones that hook up to your phone or laptop) so you can see the trichomes. You want them cloudy, not clear, and a lot of growers go for 15-20% amber for a more "narcotic" effect.

This is how close you need to be, to be accurate
That's why you need a pocket microscope. A $2 one from China will take too long to get here but U.S. sellers on eBay sell them for $5 (you'll get it in roughly a week) and they do work. If you got Amazon Prime you can get a Carson for under $20 in 2 days. I've got a nice one that hooks up to a laptop but I use my $2 one almost exclusively.
Looking at hairs can only tell you they are getting close but looking at the trichomes is the surefire way to know.

Nice.
Thanks for the tips regarding the pocket microscopes. Do you then have to cut out a small piece of a leave to see it or can you use from above the plant?
Cheers

Nope, everything stays intact this way. Plus, you're not checking leaves as much as you're checking your flowers. The leaves will show very little trichomes depending on strain. Also, leaf trichomes can be somewhat underdeveloped by comparison to their fully developed flower counterparts .
