The potassium deficiency was on the snapped branch. Should i just let it finish doing its thing or break it off and cut my loss? I just dont want it to cause bud development to slow by chopping it off.

let it ride then... watch for the problem to spread, but it sounds localized to that branch

I did a good once over and that seems like the only branch that has a problem. It was a pretty bad break on the branch. It had snapped almost completely off just a little plant fiber was holding it on there.
