Just trying to see if i could set up a hydrophonic system inside a 55 gallon fish tank inside the stand and run the tank water to the plants. So with that would the fish waste kill the plants?Would The plants kill the fish? Just wondering if there is anyone out there who might be able to help me with this idea.

Your idea is actually a growing method called 'Aquaponics'. It is growing plants hydroponically by using fish waste for nutrients. All you add is fish food and occasional trace elements. The plants clean the 'waste' out of the water and make it safe for the fish. Should work great for bud, but I've never seen anyone try it and am not in a position to do it myself. The best part is you'd harvest bud AND super-fresh, safe fish!

There are some really info-packed forums on the subject. Google 'murray hallam', 'CHIFT-PIST and CHOP'. The Aussies seem to have the most best info.

Best of luck, and if you start a system like this, please log it!
