Does anyone know if it is okay to make butter with fresh cut buds? Does it work as good as dried? Thanks

I think it would work fine. The butter might have more of a bitter taste, but it should get the thc out of the plant material just as effectively. If you chop up the buds and spread them out on a cookie sheet (or two) in an open oven set to 100f for a couple hours, you might get some moisture out of there.

My wife is a chef and has made it with both dry and fresh with the same results. She makes oil and many other goodies! there are cookbooks with just hemp recipes... Look up on google...
