I think it was 18 unless you're referred by a specialist and have parents consent. I read an article the other day where the CPSO is telling docs not to prescribe it to anyone under 25 but it's not a rule.

Hi, i just sent MMS a whopping $340 yesterday along with my paperwork in a PDF file. When shall i expect the doctor to contact me?
Hello again everyone.
Just updating about Medicalmarijuanaservices.ca.
Within days of filling out my paperwork and mailing it off, I got a reply from MMS. I met with a representative and completed the application by providing some missing info. Within 2 business days of that, I had a Skype appointment with a doctor and was granted a prescription. In the end the total fee was $350, but I can now order from a Licensed Commercial Provider (LCP) and my meds will be couriered right to my house.
The LCP has several different strains available, some with a very high THC content and other strains with high CBD and many in between. Some Indica's, some Sativa's and some Hybrids, the strains don't go by the normal names though, they are trying to make it sound a little more medical.
Prices are $7.60/g to $9.69/g, and all the strains are tested for THC% and CBD% content. Shipping is free for the first order every month, and also free on all other orders over 60 grams. Maximum a patient can order is 150 grams/month.
I'll do another update once I actually receive my meds for a review, and I'll post some pics of the Buds.

Once they get the payment, MMS should be able to tell you the date they setup the appointment for. You'll also have to install Skype onto your computer or phone etc..to have the meeting with the doctor. At least that's how it was when I went through the process.

Today at around 12pm EST i call MMS asking the status of the application and the person on the phone says she's not in the office, but when she's in she'll email me back. 4 hours later, nothing. I provided my skype username on the application form, but no friend requests yet. Guess i gotta play the waiting game lol.Oh and thanks haha

Update: Just got an email from the bank, saying that MMS accepted the e transfer. Looks like things are still in motion!

Another Update: So i had my appointment today, but it wasn't with a doctor- it was a nice lady who was a nurse for one of the doctors, who regret to inform me that my application is going to take a little longer, apparently due to new health canada restrictions on medical cannabis recently. According to her, next week i'll have a short 1 minute appointment where the actual doctor will take a quick look at me and my health card and approve my prescription- from there tweed will be receiving the paperwork as the designated LP. (Although I might also consider using a dispensary or a local MMAR grower)
I'll keep you guys posted.

Maybe the Under 25 Restriction which isn't even applied, yet.... or maximum dosage.

UPDATE: It's official. I just got an email saying the doctor approved the prescription,and in 2-4 weeks (depending on the LP she wrote,for me i chose tweed) i'll have all the documentation in the mail.

Hi everyone, just letting you all know how the renewal of my prescription went after my 1 yr was up.
I was contacted through email by Body stream a month before my prescription expired. I had to fill out a couple of forms asking about how the treatment was going etc.. had to answer some very minor questions to ensure there are no side effects or bad reactions etc., and then send/email them back to Body stream. Once they got the completed forms I had another appointment via online video chat with a nurse to renew my prescription. All went well and I'm still able to get medicine through my LP, Mettrum.
I could have switched LP's if I chose to, but Mettrum seems to finally be getting their shit together.
The total cost to renew was $200. The only downside is that I was only renewed for a six month period not 1yr like the original prescription. The fee of $200 I paid covers the next appointment in six months though, so its $200 a year for renewal even though the prescription is only for 6 months. The nurse said its was just a formality really, they just need to have another appointment via online video to lay eyes on me and ensure everything is going well, and there is no fee for the second appointment.
If you have any questions feel free to ask, and I'll get back to you ASAP, in the mean time, Cheers all.

It's been awhile! Anyway heres what my 350 dollars to MMS got me, still gotta order some buds from tweed which come with a sticker you apply to the card to "validate" the thing (kinda silly if you ask me)
Came with a medication log too (not pictured)
Maximum carry amount is 150 grams ( 5g/day * 30 days )
