More bubbles the better?

I bought a pump for a 160 gallon tank, it has 4 outlets and an adjustable air flow knob. More bubbles are better but you don't want a whole lot of movement with the roots. To much and you will be taking chances of breaking off new small roots

It's important to note that more bubbles will not always be better. You can very well be wasting your powerful air pump if your water temperature is not within a particular range. Colder water can hold more oxygen, so the key is to get a good temperature which holds oxygen and is healthy for your plants.

68 F degrees seems to be a popular number.
