My crazy light cycle question...

I was bacicaly wondering what effect it would have on a plant if i gave it a 9/3 light cycle twice a day instead of 18/6 once. Would it work? Would it make auto flowering plants flower sooner? Would non auto flowering plants grow like this?

The only thing that light schedule would do is mostly likely stress out the plant to the point it might hermie on ya. I understand where you're coming from but for vegging, the lowest light time you want is 18 hours / off (of coarse different for flowering).

As the saying goes, if it's not broke why fix it

auto flowers will flower the way they are genetically programmed and bred to flower regardless of light and other variables that are relevant to ordinary strains. At least to my understanding this is how they work.
