Hi here are some pics of my outdoor. I took a sugar leaf from top of cola and could anybody confirm that these are ready for harvest? I’m also growing outdoors in Midcoast Maine and had really bad mold last year have kept up with it this year using 420 fungus bully but we’re getting more rain. Need some advice.

You don't want to look at sugar leaves to see if it's done. It's always looking at the bud itself! :) A good indicator of if it's ready is if 70-90% of the hairs are brown. Then look closer at the tricomes on the bud, If they are cloudy, that is when most people want to harvest. If there is amber on the bud itself, your good to go. It all depends what high you are seeking.

I must say though, beautiful plant!

Here are pics of buds from same plant she’s the biggest one I have around 7’ tall and almos 5’ wide.

You have my mouth drooling! They still need some more time by the looks of them, but they are well along the way, possibly 2-3 more weeks (pending weather).

If you can get a shot of the tricomes on the bud, that will be your #1 indicator. They are coming along nicely!

She’s kinda a Frankenstein plant some branches have buds that have majority of white hairs turned and curled and then others with white hairs mostly sticking up. As well as branches that have dark green leaves and some that are deap purple. You can imagine that this makes it harder to spot bud rot. I’m trying to let her mature as much as possible without having to much loss to mold.

Noahd1981, Roger.

Your best bet would be to have a look at the tricomes on the bud itself....
If they are clear, try to let it go for another few weeks (It will be a speedy high)
If it's cloudy and plastic looking, you can cut it here (as this is the highest % of THC)
If some are amber, you are at the prime to harvest, any time past this it will start to degrade the THC and give more of a couch lock feel.

This would be the best way to evaluate if they are ready.

If you have mold, you may be best to cut your losses and chop her.... or remove the area of mold and hope it will continue with no issue!

Here are pics of trichs on smaller lower buds.

Those are off the buds themselves? Not the sugar leaves?

The second one has amber. (Top of the picture) (Ready IMO)
The first looks like it has some nice milky ones and some nice cloudy ones all within. (1 week IMO)

If its the buds, and not the leaves. Usually the lower takes longer to mature. I would say chop, overall if your worried about mold.

I would chop it. Don't want to mess around with mold, and those last pics of those buds look ready to me. Worst thing is you make oil with the lower stuff. Being in Maine this time of the year with the weather is like Russian roulette. Good luck, enjoy that harvest, great looking meds you made there......

I think a lot of people get confused about it. If we still had the old "REPutation" thing here, I'd have given you some for the above statement.
