Need help with soil asap

I would not use a peat/spagnum 100% based compost as this is mainly acidic PH value which can be countered with the use of dolomite/garden lime application tho...

But if you shop around most good gardening centers or DIY stores with gardening department will stock a suitable compost/loam/mixture & would be inclined to use a compost which has a PH value between PH 6 & PH 7 which should be labled on the bag if a good brand of compost.

PH 6 to 7 is considored the neutral range & best for optimal nutrient uptake for growing in soil/compost.

Perlite can be added if not included in compost/soil as this aids aeration/drainage of soil/compost
