Need some help

My 'GirlScoutCookies' grown from seed, is getting chunky colas, Smelling really strong, like Sweet/Sour lemons, and oranges. Decided to scope the Trichs to check the progress. Im seeing mostly cloudy, scattered amber, trichs. according to a few websites i should pull, some are saying wait till the pistils brown and you have mostly cloudy trichs, but if you have ANY amber you're already losing potency? can anyone chime in and help a fellow grower out, Thanks in advance

From the pics it looks as if you are looking at the leaves and not deeper into the bud. Just starting to show amber there would mean a few more days to go. Amber color is the thc at its highest potency but just starting to degrade. Very nice looking plant and should produce nicely.

You will get early amber on the leaves and on the lower growth, while the buds up top still have a ways to go. Usually waiting until the last pistils up top turn color and pull back is a good sign that you are ready, but of course the trichomes are the only real determiner. I have always followed the 2% amber rule, and begin my pulling process when I see that up top on the calyxes, not the leaves. Amber is ripe, and the plant expressing itself fully, and it is actually red and black which come later where the THC is degrading badly. If you can see any clear trichomes up top, it usually is not time to pull. All cloudy is acceptable and will provide probably the strongest head high... waiting for amber starts to produce the body high and pain killing effects. It really all comes down to what type of high or medical effect you want from your product.
