Newbie in need of help with hydroponic growing

Hello everyone, tried growing some germinated seeds but they don't seem like they are thriving .. one grew a tiny bit but just stopped showing any sign of life and the other 2 look like they just gave up after germination.. What do you guys think ?

I'd also suggest putting in whatever other medium you're going to use around the rooters, because you don't want emerging roots exposed to light. Cover em up!

Didn't have anything else to cover them up... maybe I can cover the pods with aluminum foil?

That would work; you want to keep all light out of the reservoir or you're just asking for root rot.

Thanks. I put some aluminum foil around it but not as pretty as this tho. Going to make it a lil better looking now ...

Hydroton would be ideal in there with the jiffy pellets. Will be more stable once she gets big and heavy. A solution, no matter how ghetto, is still a solution. I use many ghetto solutions in my diy even if only temporary. But like they're telling you the last thing you want in your res is light. It invites the oogy boogies in lol
